VW’s baby Polo is a light car that challenges the small car class with its solid presence, competitive interior space and mini-Golf looks. The Polo comes in three ands five-door Club, Match and TDI form, with two petrol engines including a 59kW/130Nm 1.4-litre and a 77kW/153Nm 1.6-litre, and a manual-only 1.9-litre TDI turbodiesel. The petrol engines offer the choice of five-speed manual or six-speed Tiptronic transmission. All Polos come with dual front airbags, semi-auto air conditioning and four-speaker CD audio. The TDI Polo adds ABS, while dual front and curtain airbags remain optional.
