Saab's 9-3, more than ever, is the cornerstone of the GM-owned Swedish company's Australian presence. The worthy 9-3 has a generally classy air, excellent dynamics and a wide range of engines. The convertible continues to be a 9-3 mainstay, the range now including the ethanol-friendly BioPower model with the two-litre turbo's power bumped to 147kW and 300Nm - and price just a little.
