Renault’s Trafic van sits between the Master and the Kangoo and offers the choice of short (five cubic metres) or long-wheelbase (six cubic metres) low-roof configurations as well as manual six-speed or four-speed auto transmissions. The Trafic will, depending on model, take payloads up to 1244kg and is accessed by a right-side sliding door and two 180-degree rear doors. One engine is offered: a 2.0-litre turbodiesel producing 85kW and 290Nm, driving through a six-speed manual gearbox. Trafic comes with driver’s side airbag, ABS, air-conditioning, trip computer. Stability and traction control, and passenger airbag, are optional.
