The Grand Scenic finally came to Australia as a complement to the regular Scenic MPV in February 2007. With a 50mm longer wheelbase and 180mm more rear overhang, the big-brother Scenic offers seating for seven in a versatile interior offering a minimum 200 litres of luggage space. The engine is the same 98kW/191Nm four-cylinder used in regular Scenics, and drives through a four-speed auto transmission. In Dynamique trim only, the Grand Scenic also scores a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating and is fitted with six airbags, stability control, parking sensors, air-conditioning, 17-inch alloys, cruise control and four-speaker, six-CD audio.
