Peugeot’s 407 Touring arrived in 2004, adding wagon practicality to the sedan’s low-slung style. The Touring offers a useful 430 litres of space behind the back seat, and a split-opening tailgate enables easy loading of smaller items. Comfortable passenger space and classy instrument presentation create a welcoming interior. There are base ST and upper-level SV versions, with two diesels and two petrol engines, as well as four and six-speed autos. The four-speed 116kW/217Nm 2.2-litre ST adds a leather-seat option to the regular list of equipment including stability and traction control, eight airbags, 17-inch alloys, cruise control, and rear parking sensors.
