The five-door Peugeot 308 followed the 307 in early 2008, bringing a return to Peugeot’s legendary balance between ride and handling, a focus on fuel economy and a big, comfortable interior. And unmistakable, in-your-face styling. The range includes five petrol and diesel engine variants and three trim levels: XS, XSE and XTE. The 2.0-litre turbodiesel XSE 308 punches out 100kW, although the more impressive figure is its 320Nm of torque. This engine brings six-speed transmissions too: a manual, or a sequential automatic.
