| Review |
PORSCHE is an independent car-maker today because in the bleak early 1990s it decided to develop an entry-level roadster and all-new 911 concurrently, to resuscitate sales and profits. Primed by the ’93 Concept, consumers and critics alike seemed to love the resulting 986 Boxster of 1996. Porsche sure got it right, often doubling sales targets. So to say that the 987 Boxster has big shoes to fill is a small understatement.
